Using sport to raise awareness

During the match on April 11 against Brive, Oyonnax Rugby partnered with Arthrose du Pouce, a French awareness initiative, to inform its audience and people affected by thumb osteoarthritis.

This collaboration brings together sport, prevention and health around a shared goal.

It aims to:

  • raise awareness of thumb osteoarthritis among fans

  • make the condition more visible in an accessible and engaging setting

  • create a meaningful link between sport, prevention and health
