Directory Listing Conditions
The General Terms of Use of the Directory are defined and available here.
These Listing Conditions are intended to define the access requirements for any eligible Surgeon who wishes to appear in the Directory.
By using this feature, you acknowledge having read and accepted these Listing Conditions without reservation.
Profile of the Listed User
The Directory includes surgeons who use thumb implants (trapeziometacarpal prostheses) as part of the surgical treatment of thumb osteoarthritis. These are hand surgeons originally practising in United Kingdom, in public or private healthcare facilities, who meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria (which they must be able to justify at any time):
- Practical training in an anatomy laboratory
- Participation in a scientific event dedicated exclusively to thumb osteoarthritis
- Training provided by the industry
- Training by a fellow surgeon
- Other: participation in any project requiring the use of a thumb implant
Listing Conditions
Any eligible Surgeon may submit a listing request through the dedicated online form available on the website. The full listing conditions are described here.
Listing Procedure
To benefit from the Directory service, you may submit a listing request by completing the online form available on the website, or by completing any contractual documentation provided directly to you.
Once the form has been submitted, your request is forwarded to the My Thumb team responsible for verifying the information and sending you the contractual documents. To validate any listing, proof of eligibility corresponding to one of the criteria above is required.
When your request has been reviewed, you will be notified by email of the decision and, if accepted, of the publication of your professional details.
Management of Your Data
The information collected is used solely for the purpose of listing you in our Directory.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to notify www.mythumb.co.uk of any necessary updates by emailing contact@mythumb.eu or by using the website’s contact form.
A listed User may request removal from the Directory at any time.
In accordance with applicable regulations, you also have the right to access, rectify, delete or, where applicable, port your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your data and request its restriction. You may also define instructions regarding the handling of your data in the event of your death.

If needed, you may lodge a complaint with your relevant data protection authority.
Limitation of Liability
www.mythumb.co.uk cannot be held liable for any indirect damages suffered by a listed User in connection with the use of the Directory service.
www.mythumb.co.uk reminds Users that, due to its non-exhaustive nature, the Directory cannot in any way be considered a referral service directing Patients to specific Surgeons.
www.mythumb.co.uk is not responsible for the accuracy of the information displayed on each Surgeon’s profile. Maintaining and updating this information is the sole responsibility of the Surgeon concerned.
www.mythumb.co.uk does not favour any practitioner.
